Victorian employers have been recognised for outstanding support to ADF Reservists in their civilian workplaces.
Members of 4th Brigade are among Victorian reservists who successfully nominated their civilian employers for the Employer Support Awards, organised by Defence Reserves and Employer Support.
The employers will be presented with awards for their commitment in supporting Navy, Army and Air Force Reservists over a sustained period during Defence involvement in state emergencies and COVID-19 Operations.
Defence congratulates the Victorian award recipients:
- Small Private Enterprise Skaterz
- Medium Private Enterprise AMMA Steelworks
- Large Private Enterprise Telstra
- Public Sector Supreme Court of Victoria
- Not For Profit Oonah Health & Community Services Aboriginal Corporation
FactSet (medium private enterprise category) and Western Health (public sector) were also recognised with honourable mentions.
Defence representatives will visit each of the employers to formally present the awards when safe to do so, in line with COVID restrictions. Recognition of Support certificates will also be presented to all employers nominated by their reservist employees.
